Frequently asked questions

Quick answers to the questions sellers and buyers ask most often. If you don't find what you need here, search using the bar above or browse the relevant section in the left navigation.

What is SUQO and what does it do?

SUQO is a recurring-payments platform built for businesses in Nepal. Sellers manage subscription plans and customers; buyers pay through eSewa, Khalti, ConnectIPS, or bank transfer. See What is SUQO?

How much does SUQO cost?

SUQO's pricing and fees are published at suqo.ai/pricing.

Do I need a developer to use SUQO?

No. The whole product works through the dashboard — products, plans, customers, and payments. Developers come in only if you want to wire SUQO into your own software via the API. See API integration.

Can I try SUQO without using real customers or real money?

Yes. Switch the Live / Test control in the sidebar to Test Mode and you get the same dashboard filled with practice data — build products, add customers, run a checkout, nothing charged. Same login, nothing separate to sign up for. Payouts and SMS usage stay Live-only, and email is really delivered even in Test mode, so use an address you own. See Test mode.

Is SUQO compatible with my existing software?

If your software supports webhooks or scheduled API calls, yes. Create an API key under API integration and point your developer at the API reference. Most popular school, gym, and coworking systems work fine.

What payment methods can my customers use?

eSewa, Khalti, ConnectIPS, and NPS (between them these cover most banks and wallets), plus manual cash or bank transfer that you record yourself. You don't need your own merchant account with any provider — SUQO holds the gateway integrations. Switch individual methods on or off, and set the order customers see them in, under Payment methods.

How quickly do I receive payments?

Typically within 24 hours — sometimes the same day for eSewa and Khalti, 1 business day for ConnectIPS. See Settlement.

What happens if a renewal payment fails?

The subscription enters a Grace state for a short window so the customer can pay. The seller can record a manual payment if the customer pays in cash, or the customer can retry from their dashboard. After grace, the subscription becomes Inactive.

Can I cancel a subscription any time?

Buyers cancel from My subscriptions. Sellers can cancel on a customer's behalf from Customer details. Cancellation stops future renewals; past payments are not refunded automatically.

What currency does SUQO use?

NPR throughout — product prices, receipts, analytics.

What about VAT?

VAT-registered sellers can enable VAT under Configure VAT. The rate is set once and applied to every plan automatically; receipts show VAT as a line item.

Can the same person be a seller and a buyer?

Yes. One phone number and password covers both roles. The dashboard adapts based on what you've set up; if both apply, you can switch from the profile menu.

How do I reset my password?

Use the password reset flow. SUQO sends a 6-digit code to your registered phone; type it in and set a new password.

I changed my phone number — what now?

The phone number is your login, so it can't be changed from the profile screen. Contact SUQO support; they can update the registered phone after verifying ownership.

Where do I see receipts?

Sellers find receipts under Transactions. Buyers find them under My transactions. Each row has a download button.
